Many people think that necktie is a men’s accessory, but women have also adopted the fashion of wearing neckties from 19th century after World War II. The ladies tie was introduced as a part of formal attire for school, university, and occupational fields. However, today girls wear necktie at different formal and informal events. Compared to men, the women choose the soft fabric and bold colored neckties. Nowadays, multiple style & pattern of neckties are designed for girls.

1. Wide Necktie



A short necktie is covered around the neck in a simple knot. The frills can be attached to the edges with sequins to tie the knot of a wide necktie. The other name of Wide Necktie is Jabot. 2. Long Bow Necktie



Long Bow Necktie is a long & wide straight patterned tie. This necktie is about 4 inches wide at the edges and 2 inches at the center. It is joined in the center of the tie to create a short knot in a bow shape. This type of ladies tie is generally worn by cabin crews in Aviation Industry.









3. Thin Necktie



The thin necktie is the fashion of the 90’s, which has re-emerged in the 21st century. The thin or skinny necktie is worn by both men and women from 1960s. Its width is 1.5-2.5 inches and height is long compared to modern neckties in 21st century. This is a casual necktie, so girls can wear it with a casual shirt.








4. Cascade Tie



Cascade tie is made with a soft fabric attached with cascade ruffle. The Velcro fastener elastic and button closure are used to tie cascade necktie. Generally, round knots are made while tying this type of necktie. These ladies ties are worn in the hospitality industry.
